Mesh Butterfly Weft is constructed on a flexible textile mesh base.

Rather than using a polyurethane strip with predetermined attachment holes, the textile structure allows the stylist to introduce a fine hook through the mesh at the required position, pick up the appropriate amount of the client's natural hair and bring it through for attachment.

The mesh construction is soft and flexible and gives the stylist greater freedom in determining attachment positions.

What Is a PU Butterfly Weft?

PU Butterfly Weft uses a flexible polyurethane base with pre-formed attachment holes.

During installation, the client's natural hair can be drawn through these prepared openings before the weft is secured.

The predetermined holes make attachment positions immediately visible and can make the installation process more straightforward and repeatable.

The fundamental difference is the base construction.

Mesh Butterfly Weft uses a textile mesh through which the stylist can select attachment positions according to the application.

PU Butterfly Weft uses a polyurethane strip with predetermined holes that define the available attachment positions.

Neither construction should automatically be considered better than the other.

A stylist who values maximum flexibility in positioning may prefer Mesh Butterfly Weft.

An Important Manufacturing Principle: Weight Is Fixed, Width Is Not

SACH & VOGUE Butterfly Wefts are manufactured by hair weight, not by a guaranteed finished horizontal span.

This distinction is important.

For our standard Butterfly Wefts, the professional selects:

• Hair colour
• Hair length
• Hair weight
• Hair quality / drawn level where applicable

The finished horizontal span is not a selectable measurement. It is determined by the hair weight, density and construction of the finished weft.

Human hair wefts are constructed from natural hair rather than being moulded into a fixed-dimensional industrial component. The final horizontal span therefore develops naturally during production according to the selected hair length, weight and construction.

A 50 g Butterfly Weft should be understood as 50 grams of hair, not as a promise of a specific number of centimetres of finished weft.

This manufacturing principle applies to both Mesh Butterfly Weft and PU Butterfly Weft.
